Central High School Future Business Leaders of America
FBLA is the oldest and largest national organization for students preparing for careers in business leadership. FBLA prepares students for “real world” professional experiences. Members gain the competitive edge for college and career successes.
FBLA provides students with:
- Travel Opportunities
- Challenging Competitions
- Scholarships and Prizes
- Leadership Development
- Community Service Experience
- Friendship and Fun
In FBLA students will have the opportunity to experience and learn new things relating to the business profession.
In the Chattanooga Central chapter of FBLA we strive to be the best. We participate in as many competitions as we can. The members of the Chattanooga Central Chapter attend the Region 8 Regional Competition, the State Leadership Conference located in Chattanooga, and we will be attending the National Leadership Conference this year in Nashville, Tennessee.
In our chapter we lend a hand to our community by doing service projects such as collecting can tabs to help kids with cancer, collecting books for children who are less fortunate, and also as a chapter we have come up with a community service project called project joy. Project joy is a opportunity to provide place mats for nursing homes. Members of FBLA have the opportunity to compete for awards and recognition on the local, state, and national levels in more than 40 different event categories including Web Page Design, Marketing, Business Plan, Public Speaking, Job Interview and much, much more!
