The Central Sound of Chattanooga enjoys a long reputation of musical excellence.  Year after year, the Central Sound of Chattnooga has worked hard to live up to higher and higher expectations and to achieve goals set by the students. Band class meets 5th block every day, with marching band in the fall and concert band in the spring.  Students who can or cannot play instruments who are interested in participating in band should contact Mr. Kortyka. Anyone with a good, positive attitude and work ethic are welcome to be a part of our organization.

In addition to Marching and Concert Band there is Pep Band, Jazz Band, Guitar Ensemble, and Brass Ensemble which are open to interested students who have taken guitar class or are in band.
